Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Policy governs your use of Hanaset Hub's AI-powered accounting automation tools and services.

This Policy governs your use of Hanaset Hub's AI-powered accounting automation tools and services. It complements the Hanaset Hub Terms of Service. In case of conflict, the specific service agreement shall prevail.

1️⃣ Free Trial

  • Free trial runs until the earliest of: trial period end, upgrade to a paid plan, or early termination by you or Hanaset Hub.
  • You must cancel (via dashboard or support) before the trial ends to avoid charges.
  • You are responsible for exporting data before the trial ends to avoid data loss.
  • Trial services are provided "as is" with no warranties or liability.

2️⃣ Subscription Cancellation

  • Cancel paid subscriptions by downgrading to a free plan via dashboard or emailing support@hanasethub.com at least 7 days before renewal.
  • If cancellation is not completed in time, your subscription will auto-renew using your existing payment method.
  • You may opt out of auto-renewals by contacting us through your account settings or support.

3️⃣ Custom Projects Cancellation

  • Cancel by written notice (email suffices) with 7 days advance notice.
  • Work completed up to the cancellation date will be billed.
  • Prepaid amounts are adjusted against completed deliverables; unused funds are refunded accordingly.

4️⃣ Refunds

a) Subscriptions & Digital Services

  • No refunds once the service term has started, unless:
    • Required by applicable law (e.g., Consumer Protection Act, 2019); or
    • Otherwise agreed contractually.
  • No prorated refunds for unused portions of service outside legal requirements.
  • If cancelled during the free trial, no charges apply.
  • All refunds are governed in compliance with Indian consumer laws.

b) Custom Projects

  • In milestone-based billing models, unused prepaid portions will be refunded after deducting costs for completed work or services delivered.

c) Failed or Duplicate Transactions

  • In case of a failed or duplicate transaction, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Refunds will be processed after verification, typically within 7 working days of reporting.
  • To initiate such a refund, please email support@hanasethub.com with payment proof and transaction details.

d) Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 7–10 working days.
  • Refunds are issued in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Refunds will be returned via the same method of payment (e.g., card refunds go back to the card).
  • GST and other applicable statutory taxes may not be refundable, unless required by law.
  • Transaction, gateway, processing, and compliance fees are non-refundable.

5️⃣ Chargebacks & Disputes

  • In case of a payment dispute or chargeback, amounts may be temporarily or permanently deducted from your account.
  • You must provide supporting documentation within 3 business days of notification.
  • Hanaset Hub reserves the right to withhold disbursements or refunds for up to 120 days to accommodate investigations or cover potential reversals.

6️⃣ Suspension & Termination

Hanaset Hub may suspend or terminate services under the following conditions:

  • Suspected illegal, unauthorized, or abusive activities.
  • Extended account inactivity as per our Terms.
  • Compliance with applicable law, court order, or regulatory direction.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you prior to termination unless urgent action or legal restrictions apply.

You may terminate if Hanaset Hub breaches its obligations under this Policy or our Terms, in which case a prorated refund of prepaid unused fees will be issued.

7️⃣ Data Retention & Deletion

  • We retain your account and service data for as long as your account is active or as required by applicable law.
  • Upon account cancellation, you may request data export.
  • We will permanently delete your data within 30 days of confirmed cancellation unless legally required to retain it.
  • Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days for disaster recovery.

8️⃣ Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

1️⃣1️⃣ Consumer Rights & Escalation

As a consumer under Indian law, you have the right to:

  • Request refunds as per this Policy or law.
  • Escalate unresolved complaints to our Grievance Officer.
  • Approach a consumer court or regulator under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, if your concerns are not resolved satisfactorily.

1️⃣2️⃣ Policy Updates

We may update this Policy from time to time.

  • Material changes will be notified via email or your account dashboard at least 7 days in advance.
  • Continued use of our services after updates implies your acceptance of the revised Policy.
